COVID-19 MEASURES

Following up on the current state of the pandemic, the Valverde Hotel provides covid auto-tests in order to assure everyone's safety.

Clean and Safe stamp from Portuguese Tourism Office.

The Hotel Cleaning and Sanitation Protocol guarantees:

 Washing and disinfection of surfaces where employees and guests circulate, ensuring the control and prevention of infections and antimicrobial resistance.

 Frequent cleaning of surfaces and commonly used objects (including counters, light and elevator switches, door handles, cabinet handles).

 Air renewal in rooms and closed spaces is done regularly

 The definition of specific care for changing bed linen and cleaning the rooms, favoring two spaced intervention times and with adequate protection.

 The removal of bed linen and towels is done without shaking or shaking them, rolling them from the inside to the outside, without touching the body and transporting them directly to the washing machine.

 Separate washing in the machine and at high temperatures of employees' uniforms and bed linen/towels (around 60°C);

 Reinforcement of continuous cleaning and disinfection of areas and objects with the greatest focus of contamination with specific products for surface disinfection, such as:

 Elevators (including interior and exterior buttons);

 Handrails;

 Bathrooms and changing rooms;

 Counters;

 Rooms Keys;

 Crockery, cutlery, etc. must be washed directly in the dishwasher;

 Door handles;

 Bedroom telephones;

 TV and AC controls;

 Light switches;
